All-time favorites: Nyx Cosmetics Review

As promised. I'm doing another make up review! This time it's about my everyday make-up essentials from Nyx Cosmetics . What got me into trying Nyx was the fact that it was in the list of cruelty-free brands with great reviews on its products. The next brand that I'm eyeing on is ColourPop as it's also a cruelty-free brand. It's just much easier to buy Nyx Cosmetics here in the Philippines that's why I'm sticking to it for my everyday use. So here are a few items that I use everyday: 1. Nyx Matte but not Flat Liquid Foundation What to love: -it's oil-free and water-based , meaning it's great for oily to combination skin types. It minimized the occurrence of my breakouts even if I use make-up everyday. -it has great coverage (full coverage) and lasts me almost the whole day. I hardly have to retouch especially when I'm travelling and I don't enjoy bringing a lot of stuff on my bag. -true to its "mat

The miracle of my mom

This is a story that I probably shared to only very few people. Not that I'm ashamed of it, but because it's very special to me as it has brought great impact in my life and has changed me into the 'better' woman that I am today. And on that same morning when the results were out, my mom told me everything. I didn't know the implications or the risks involved and all I could think of that time was ' okay. let's get it over then.' We went to Cebu (Cebu Doctor's Hospital) for the operation and there were still a number of tests that had to be done days prior. So far, everything looked fine and well for her, and they eve

April Make up Haul: Lustrous Eyeshadow Palette Review

Hey everyone! It's been a while since my last post that's why I'm making this post extra special. Many of you requested for a review of the Lustrous eyeshadow palette that I got and I'm more than willing to do that for you! To add to that, on my next post I'll also be reviewing some Nyx Cosmetics that I have been using for quite a while now. Keep posted for that!   Lustrous Eyeshadow Palette in Calypso (P799) There are actually two options for her eyeshadow palettes, the Calypso and the Luna . But I was more in love with this one as I am not much of a fan of having pink and blue shades for my eyes. The collection is quite pricey even if you say that it's limited edition . A price peg of P499 for a brow pencil and P449 for the brow gel just doesn't fit my budget. Hahaha. I was able to try the eyebrow pencil and it was indeed very promising, but still so mahal!   However, I was willing to shell out some money for the palette (and hopefully
