Skincare Products & Tips for Acne-prone Skin

If there's one thing that has been affecting my confidence lately, it's probably my trouble with acne every now and then. I've been going back and forth with this acne problem for a year now , so I thought I might as well share with you some of the things I learned in this journey and some of the products that actually worked for me. Recent photo wearing make up. Notice the bumps on my cheeks 😐 This is intended for those who have just started getting a sudden surge of pimples and eventually, acne. It can be frustrating to see these tiny dots on your face when you've been so used to that clear, unblemished skin. Trust me, I had such clear skin before! But then life happens, and stress + pollution happens too. 😂 Don't let it get to you, though! Don't mind those people who have nothing to say but "uy, gibugas lagi ka" or "na unsa man na imong nawong? di ba hamis man na sauna?" . As if you don't look at the mirror and see th...

Tips on starting your own online shop (feat. Coco & Belle)

Hello everyone! It's been a while since my last blog post. March has been a busy month for me as it was Coco and Belle's anniversary month! I also joined my first bazaar last weekend, making my April quite busy too. I thought about sharing my story about Coco and Belle to hopefully inspire others who are planning to start a business of their own. First of all, before anything else, why "Coco and Belle" ? I have a dog named Belle (Maltese) and Coco was supposed to be the name of a dog I was planning to get at that time. I got a "Chico" (French bulldog) instead but "Chico & Belle" wouldn't sound so good for a shoe store, would it? Haha. Then next question is, why shoes and not clothes or accessories? I just happened to order from a store some pairs of shoes that I wanted. I posted the designs online on who would want to join in on my order to save on shipping. Turns out, I was able to take a lot of "orders" (...

Perfect gift for strawberry lovers!

Still looking for unique pastries to give this valentine's? How about some strawberry cheesecake broas sticks and brazo bars? Sounds unique enough for me! So I was simply scrolling through my IG feed when I saw this sponsored post showing a box of cream-filled broas sticks. And in my head I was like 'I never heard or saw that before'. So I checked out the store, saw the items and in just a few minutes I placed an order. 😂 I couldn't help it, they looked so good! The best part was that they could immediately ship my order the next day. Yey! The place was called Pasteleria Manila (IG: @pasteleria_manila ) and they offer broas sticks (red velvet, ube, dulce de leche), brazo bars (walnut, mango, ube) and chocolate chunk cookies. You can order in one flavor or assorted. So these were my orders: I must say that the items were well packaged and delivered in great condition. My favorite was the chocolate chunk cookies. Then next was the dulce de leche br...

Valentine's Gift Ideas for Men

Valentine's isn't just about women getting showered with flowers, chocolates and all these grand surprises. Men need some lovin' too and they also deserve to have the spotlight. This is me trying to surprise boyfie with balloons and a bouquet of cake pops (2016). However, ( in all honesty ) despite the best intentions, it can get quite dreadful looking for a gift especially when you've been together for a while already. The options seem to get smaller and smaller and also, more expensive ! But don't panic, I got some ideas for you. ☺ Since we already mentioned about sticking to a budget, I guess we all know the struggle, right? In my opinion, if we're spending on this gift anyway, then might as well buy something that our boyfriends can use on a daily or regular basis. Sulit and practical are the keywords! Haha. If he's an office guy , he might need new pairs of socks or a great pair of leather shoes . You can get him the usual plain socks...

Spread the Love!

The easy, almost no-fail valentines gift idea: FOOD. When you're in a relationship with a foodie, the best gift you can give is either something so uniquely new (like something he might be interested to try) or something that the he always, always craves for . OR both! For example with my boyfriend (Kiefer) he's so into mangoes, so I look for unique mango flavored food items that he might like. For all of you still clueless on what to buy for Valentine's and are considering to buy unique food items, I went around Instagram to help you. Luckily, I bumped into this shop called Cassed's Cuisines. What caught my attention? the homemade MATCHA SPREAD. Oh, just look at that beauty. Their products are homemade cheese milk spread or "cheemis". And so I thought... if you have a partner that is sooooo in love with matcha, then why not give them everything matcha flavored ? Here's what you can include: -Hello Panda Matcha flavor (Landers...
