Skincare Products & Tips for Acne-prone Skin

If there's one thing that has been affecting my confidence lately, it's probably my trouble with acne every now and then. I've been going back and forth with this acne problem for a year now , so I thought I might as well share with you some of the things I learned in this journey and some of the products that actually worked for me. Recent photo wearing make up. Notice the bumps on my cheeks 😐 This is intended for those who have just started getting a sudden surge of pimples and eventually, acne. It can be frustrating to see these tiny dots on your face when you've been so used to that clear, unblemished skin. Trust me, I had such clear skin before! But then life happens, and stress + pollution happens too. 😂 Don't let it get to you, though! Don't mind those people who have nothing to say but "uy, gibugas lagi ka" or "na unsa man na imong nawong? di ba hamis man na sauna?" . As if you don't look at the mirror and see th...

All-time favorites: Nyx Cosmetics Review

As promised. I'm doing another make up review! This time it's about my everyday make-up essentials from Nyx Cosmetics . What got me into trying Nyx was the fact that it was in the list of cruelty-free brands with great reviews on its products. The next brand that I'm eyeing on is ColourPop as it's also a cruelty-free brand. It's just much easier to buy Nyx Cosmetics here in the Philippines that's why I'm sticking to it for my everyday use. So here are a few items that I use everyday: 1. Nyx Matte but not Flat Liquid Foundation What to love: -it's oil-free and water-based , meaning it's great for oily to combination skin types. It minimized the occurrence of my breakouts even if I use make-up everyday. -it has great coverage (full coverage) and lasts me almost the whole day. I hardly have to retouch especially when I'm travelling and I don't enjoy bringing a lot of stuff on my bag. -true to its "mat...

April Make up Haul: Lustrous Eyeshadow Palette Review

Hey everyone! It's been a while since my last post that's why I'm making this post extra special. Many of you requested for a review of the Lustrous eyeshadow palette that I got and I'm more than willing to do that for you! To add to that, on my next post I'll also be reviewing some Nyx Cosmetics that I have been using for quite a while now. Keep posted for that!   Lustrous Eyeshadow Palette in Calypso (P799) There are actually two options for her eyeshadow palettes, the Calypso and the Luna . But I was more in love with this one as I am not much of a fan of having pink and blue shades for my eyes. The collection is quite pricey even if you say that it's limited edition . A price peg of P499 for a brow pencil and P449 for the brow gel just doesn't fit my budget. Hahaha. I was able to try the eyebrow pencil and it was indeed very promising, but still so mahal!   However, I was willing to shell out some money for the palette (and hopefully...
